About Us:

Solirius, founded in 2007, delivers technical consultancy and application delivery. Our focus is on having a sound understanding of technology, how to implement it, and critically, how to bring this knowledge to bear to solve real world problems for our clients. We specialise in developing and advising on large systems which integrate with complex environments and business processes.

We have over 250 consultants and are growing fast. We are based in Central London, and routinely take on projects across the UK and beyond. We operate as a flat organisation and believe in trusting and supporting all of our team to operate independently, making the most of their expertise in their field. We believe in giving everyone an opportunity to continually learn and grow in the direction they choose, and we actively help and support people to shape the career that they wish to have.

The Role:

We are looking for a UX Consultant experienced in digital service and product design. You will be a great listener and communicator with a creative, structured and logical approach to problem solving.

You will be working within multidisciplinary agile teams for our Government/Public Sector and Private Sector clients to design and deliver innovative new digital products and services.

As a UX consultant, you will be comfortable with adapting to the needs of the client situation and using a combination of research, strategy and design skills to develop experiences that satisfy both user and business needs. You will be required to carry out various areas of work (although you may specialise in a particular area) which may include User Research, Service Design, Interaction Design, Content Design or any other areas of work that are required.

Candidates should be open to working in different locations for different clients if needed. Although most of our work is in remote, candidates should be happy to travel as client needs dictate.

  • Experienced at working with agile development teams and stakeholders to co-design and deliver products and services to meet user needs
  • Able to advise on and ensure high standards of usability, accessibility and inclusive design of products and services.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of working to the GDS Service Standard.
